Job Description
A client of Insight Global is searching for a calibration technician to join their team 5 days on site Monday through Friday with every other Friday off in Palm Bay, Florida. Candidates must have experience calibrating test and measuring equipment related to fields such as radio frequency and electricity. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of metrology practices and standards such as the ANSI/NCSL Z540. This is a 6-month contract with the opportunity for extension.

Required Skills & Experience
4-8 years of experience calibrating, measuring, and troubleshooting the following areas:
AC/DC, Frequency Counters, Power Sensors, RF Power, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, PXI, PXIe, SCXI, Torque, Pressure, Temperature, Lab Master, Force, Fiber Optics, National Instruments Calibration Executive, HP Vee, SureCal, Fluke Runtime, MetTeam, Counters Oscilloscopes, DAQ, Generators, Microwave, Avionics, Dimensional, HP Basic
High School Diploma
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree
Strong understanding of metrology practices
Knowledge of calibration standards such as ANSI/NCSL Z540
prior military experience
