Insight Global is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of IT systems engineering experience, including at least 5 years focused on managing and optimizing Linux environments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading Linux-centric projects and initiatives. Key responsibilities include installing, patching, and upgrading RHEL instances for various applications, administering RHEL satellite servers, and managing AD authentication for Linux VMs. The role also involves overseeing disaster recovery operations, handling tasks in vSphere, managing storage operations in Pure Storage, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls. The candidate will advocate for best practices in system management, develop and refine Linux system architectures, and collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate Linux systems effectively. Expert-level support for Linux systems and addressing complex production issues are also essential aspects of this role.

5+ Years of experience as a Linux Systems Engineer
Deep expertise in Linux operating systems across various distributions (e.g., Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
Experience with Linux administration tools and security practices, including system hardening and vulnerability management.
Proficient in using automation tools like Ansible and Puppet for efficient management of Linux environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with network protocols, encryption technologies, and cloud infrastructure (GCP, Azure).
