An employer is seeking an IT Business Analyst to join their team based in Hartford, CT. This can be a remote position, however this resource must be able to travel to Hartford on occasion if required for on-site meetings. This is for a state agency that is in progress of modernizing their technology including the Care Management system. The IT Business Analyst will spend about 80% of their time focused on the requirements piece supporting the Care Management project as they overhaul the current system and implement a new solution. The remaining 20% of the time will be spent supporting the incident management efforts focused around data reporting and regulations in adherence to Medicare/Medicaid standards. They will be responsible for communicating with stakeholders to understand requirements of the business and then will create requirements in Azure DevOps. In addition to requirements gathering this person will be responsible for assessing the requirements, working directly with the software vendor, performing gap analyses as needed, and working through the Agile backlog or creating prioritization in Waterfall as needed. Strong communication skills are essential for this position.
