Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a shelter advocate for a non-profit organization in the Fort Dodge, IA area. This individuals will provide confidential crisis intervention through crisis counseling, information and referral, safety planning and personal advocacy in a trauma informed environment to adult and child victims of domestic violence and sexual assault at the Crisis Based Shelter located in Fort Dodge, IA. Answering crisis lines, transporting, cleaning, preparing food, serving food, assisting victims that reside at the shelter with day to day tasks and other duties as assigned. Clients of this shelter range in all ages including, kids, men and women.
Por this position we are paying between $16-18 an hour.

Required Skills & Experience
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to work night shifts & weekend shifts if needed
• 2-3 year of experience in Human Services
