Job Summary
The Application Developer II is responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting software applications and enterprise systems. This role works across both development and support, partnering closely with business stakeholders, cross‑functional teams, and end users to deliver stable, high‑quality technology solutions. The position requires strong problem‑solving skills, the ability to work independently, and effective collaboration in Agile environments. The role also supports emerging AI and machine learning capabilities to help improve automation, analytics, and data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop, test, debug, and maintain software applications throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through production support
Support the ongoing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) of multiple enterprise applications
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including standups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Work closely with business partners to understand requirements and help document objectives, deliverables, and specifications
Ensure applications meet security standards, coding best practices, and regulatory or compliance requirements
Identify opportunities for application enhancements and lead efforts to complete upgrades and improvements
Create and maintain user documentation, manuals, and technical guidelines
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members during project execution
Design and implement APIs, system interfaces, and data integrations to enable seamless communication across enterprise systems
Take ownership of application issues by investigating root causes and driving problems through resolution
Participate in on‑call support to ensure application reliability and availability
Perform additional duties as needed
The compensation for this position will be $88,000-$104,500 based on experience

Required Skills & Experience
Education and/or Experience:
Four-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent required with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience
Associates degree in a related field with six (6) or more years of hands on experience in coding, testing, and debugging will also be considered
A combined total of eight (8) or more years of equivalent experience in a related technical discipline may be accepted in lieu of formal education
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Specific Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Highly skilled with building applications using: Visual Studio, C#, ASP .NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, T-SQL, SSIS,
Extensive experience working on projects following the Agile project methodology.
Extensive experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) or Azure DevOps for work item tracking, TFVC, Git, CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions such as Globalscape EFT or MoveIt.
Familiarity with job scheduling software such as VisualCron
Knowledge of banking/financial institution regulatory requirements desired
Familiarity with machine learning concepts
Familiarity with Gen AI and Agentic AI tools
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
SSIS, Power Automate, Power Apps and Dynamics 365.
Familiarity with process automation tools (Automation Anywhere, UIPath, n8n)
