Job Description

The Construction Project Coordinator provides day‑to‑day administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and field teams to ensure construction projects run smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. This role serves as a key liaison between project teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, helping manage documentation, track progress, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Support

Support Project Managers with daily project coordination activities
Assist with project scheduling, milestone tracking, and meeting coordination
Track action items, deliverables, and follow‑ups across project teams
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and records

Documentation & Reporting

Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence
Assist with preparing status reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates
Maintain drawing logs, document control systems, and version tracking
Support close‑out documentation and project handover activities

Financial & Administrative Support

Assist with purchase orders, subcontractor onboarding, and compliance documentation
Support invoice review, pay applications, and budget tracking
Track material deliveries, procurement status, and vendor coordination

Field & Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
Attend project meetings and site visits as needed
Communicate schedule updates, changes, and issues to appropriate stakeholders
Help ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and project standards


Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, or a related role
Basic understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and terminology
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment


Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
Experience working on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction projects
Familiarity with project management or document control software (e.g
