Job Description

The Automation Engineer will lead the design, development, and support of automation solutions across IT and operational technology environments. This role focuses heavily on Windows‑based automation, identity and access management, and enterprise workflow enablement.
The ideal candidate has strong experience automating within ITOT environments, understands IAM and Entra ID deeply, and can write clean, maintainable code to support scalable automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automation solutions across IT and operational environments.
- Write and support automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python in a Windows environment.
- Support and enhance IAM workflows, including:
- Active Directory processes
- Entra ID (Azure AD)
- SSO and federation models
- Role‑Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Automate identity lifecycle processes (joiner, mover, leaver).
- Partner with infrastructure, security, and compliance teams to ensure automation aligns with enterprise standards.
- Support and integrate automation with enterprise platforms (e.g., service management, discovery, or workflow tools).
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and document automation solutions to ensure reliability and scalability.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in automation engineering.
- Strong experience managing Windows environments.
- Deep understanding of Active Directory and identity processes.
- Hands‑on experience with IAM, specifically Entra ID.
Strong understanding of:
SSO models
Federation models
RBAC
- Proven ability to write competent, production‑ready code (PowerShell and/or Python).
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Experience with PLCs, robotics, or HMI systems (Epson preferred).
- Familiarity with GAMP5, CSV, and validation documentation.
- Understanding of automation metrics, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, IT, and compliance teams.
