Job Description
A large retail client is seeking a hands-on Project Manager / Business Analyst to drive the end-to-end execution of a key Sales Performance Management (SPM) initiative and related Finance/HR technology projects. This is a project-level role focused on requirements gathering, process standardization, integrations, SOC compliance, and delivery—not high-level strategy or AI portfolio ownership. The ideal candidate has successfully executed full IT project lifecycles in corporate environments (especially Finance or HR systems) and is comfortable working in a small, tight-knit team of 3–4 people. You will sit with the core team, dig into the details, document requirements, drive integrations, and keep the project moving from planning through delivery.
What You’ll Do:
Project Execution & Delivery:
Own day-to-day project management for the SPM initiative and related Finance/HR IT projects, including detailed project plans, milestones, timelines, and resource tracking.
Drive the full IT project lifecycle from requirements through design, build, testing, and go-live.
Document business and technical requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Coordinate integrations between systems and ensure clean handoffs between teams.
Manage risks, dependencies, and blockers; escalate as needed while keeping the small project team aligned and moving forward.
Sales Performance Management (SPM) Focus:
Support the standardization of compensation plans, salary structures, and bonus/incentive logic across dealerships and sales roles.
Help move currently fragmented, local-level, and often manual processes onto a more consistent, scalable platform while retaining necessary flexibility.
Work with sensitive compensation data (salary, bonus, performance metrics) owned by the business and ensure proper handling and controls.
Business Analysis & Process Improvement:
Partner closely with HR, Finance, and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
Map current-state processes (many of which are manual or inconsistent across locations) and help design future-state workflows.
Support testing, user acceptance, and change management activities.
Governance, Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure SOC compliance requirements are identified, documented, and built into the project approach and deliverables.
Maintain clear project documentation (requirements, decisions, test plans, runbooks, etc.).
Support audit readiness and proper controls around sensitive compensation and HR data.
pay rate: $55-65/hour
