Job Description

A large retail company is seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst to drive the successful delivery of critical Sales Performance Management (SPM), AI, Finance, and HR technology initiatives. This role combines strong project execution, business analysis, process improvement, and technical coordination capabilities to support both enterprise business systems and a rapidly growing portfolio of AI-powered applications and agents. The ideal candidate has experience managing full IT project lifecycles, gathering, and documenting requirements, coordinating cross-functional teams, overseeing integrations, and ensuring compliance requirements are met. This individual will thrive in a fast-paced environment where they can balance detailed project execution with ownership of multiple strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of AI, HR, Finance, and Sales Performance Management (SPM) projects through all phases of the SDLC.
Gather, document, and manage business and technical requirements, including process flows, user stories, testing, and change management activities.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, risk management, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful delivery.
Drive process improvement and standardization initiatives across compensation, incentive management, HR, and Finance operations.
Support sales compensation and incentive programs, including compensation plan standardization, bonus calculations, and performance tracking integrations.
Coordinate AI initiatives, maintain project roadmaps, track dependencies, and serve as a liaison between engineering, security, infrastructure, data, and business teams.
Manage integrations across enterprise applications, AI platforms, and third-party systems while translating technical concepts for business and executive stakeholders.
Ensure SOC compliance, security controls, audit readiness, governance, documentation, and responsible AI practices are incorporated throughout project execution.

Pay Rate: $50-70

Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of combined project management and business analysis experience – executing full IT project lifecycles (preferably in HR/Finance domains)
Experience with AI/ML projects, LLM platforms, or AI-powered business applications
Experience gathering requirements, documenting processes, facilitating stakeholders, driving process standardization, managing risks, and delivering projects in fast-paced environments.
Experience working in small project teams (3–5 people) with high ownership and limited hierarchy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, HR, or related field
Direct experience with Sales Performance Management (SPM), incentive compensation, or sales compensation systems
Prior exposure to SOC 1 / SOC 2 compliance requirements on IT projects
Familiarity with HRIS, payroll, or compensation platforms working with sensitive data (compensation, salary, bonus structures)
Experience in retail, automotive, dealership, or multi-location corporate environments
PMP, CAPM, CBAP, or equivalent certification
