Job Description

This mechanical services company is looking for an Account Manager to join their team in North Eastern Minneapolis. The role is focused on managing projects on-site, estimating jobs, and driving client engagement and sales. Account Managers act as the central liaison between clients, project managers, estimators (offshore), and administrative teams. They are expected to review takeoffs and inspection sheets, and ensure constant communication with the estimating team. While Project Managers handle profitability and daily execution, Account Managers are responsible for selling and ensuring project alignment.
The ideal candidate is driven, hungry to succeed, and thrives in a collaborative environment. Success has been seen in candidates fresh out of college with strong ambition, but industry experience and technical knowledge (especially in mechanical drawings and financials) are highly valued.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong client-facing communication and sales skills
Ability to manage projects on the ground
Experience reviewing takeoffs and inspection sheets
Willingness to work in-office during training (Minnesota-based)
Collaborative mindset to work closely with estimating, project management, and admin teams

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with mechanical drawings
Industry background in Insulation, HVAC, Mechanical, etc.
Ability to read and interpret financial statements and balance sheets
Prior experience with competitors or clients in the space
