Risk Analyst 3

This role is responsible for supporting a large chemical manufacturing company's enterprise risk management and insurance programs. The position requires an understanding of risk management principles and operational risks relevant to the chemical or energy production industries. The incumbent will analyze risk trends and mitigation practices using a connected risk model and will lead cross-functional project teams focused on risk management practices, design, development, integration and enhancement efforts. The incumbent will inform insurance program strategy and provide direct oversight of the preparation of underwriting submissions and presentations through engagement with brokers and insurance carriers.

Bachelors degree
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Risk Management, Insurance, or related disciplines such as Operations or Finance; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
Proven experience managing risk mitigation strategies within a chemical or energy manufacturing environment
Solid understanding of commercial operations, risk exposure, and core business management principles
Proficiency with Power BI or AuditBoard or Tableau platforms

Experience with data assessment and trend analysis related to enterprise operational risks; familiarity with Large Language Models a plus
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational abilities with a track record of managing multiple tasks independently
Tech-savvy, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other analytical tools
Professional risk certification
