Job Description

This role provides strategic guidance and consultation on technology business application initiatives to support organizational growth. It brings deep expertise in technical project estimation by analyzing complex information and actively participating in client business reviews to influence technology-related decisions aligned to business objectives. The role recommends and enables the adoption of new technologies/products to enhance existing processes and address evolving client needs.

Serving as a technical architecture and business facing expert, this position acts as the liaison between project delivery, technical engineering architects, technology leadership, and business stakeholders and offers subject matter expertise on technology capabilities and effective utilization. The role independently navigates and resolves complex, ambiguous challenges with enterprise-wide impact, developing innovative approaches through advanced analytical and inductive reasoning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional IT experience, with strong commercial banking and payments technology domain knowledge relevant to technical product and modernization initiatives.
○ Expertise in banking payments products and lending/loan origination systems and services. (FIS highly preferred).
○ NOT looking for expertise in enterprise card or payment authorization services.
• Must have recent experience within a small/mid-size bank or fintech organization, with extensive knowledge of industry regulations, including current and emerging industry trends.
• Strong business acumen to drive meetings with stakeholders, understand the businesses requirements, influence business solution strategies, create estimation and represent the technology area for leadership budget approvals.
• Comprehensive understanding of SDLC processes, with emphasis on building solutions in cloud.
• Previous experience as a technical developer, engineer, or business system analyst leading projects and designing solutions.
• Ability to elicit requirements and write strong documentation.
• Excellent abilities to manage stakeholders and having strong communication skills and abilities around analyzing and understanding data, as well as gap analysis expertise.
• Proficient with Excel pivot tables, Visio, and other Microsoft office applications.
• You have strong problem solving skills, stakeholder management abilities, and exceptional organizational skills.
