Job Description

Overview
Grant Thornton GTech is supporting a large-scale SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation in the public cloud, spanning multiple global regions including the US, Ireland, India, Cayman, and UAE. These resources will play a key role in Wave 1 data migration, reporting, and analytics, supporting a complex ERP landscape with custom and niche source applications. This is a hands-on, senior-level role ideal for someone who can operate independently, get up to speed quickly, and help alleviate workload currently overseen by senior leadership.

Project Details
• SAP S/4HANA ERP implementation in the public cloud
• Global rollout across the US, Ireland, India, Cayman, and UAE
• Major multi-year program with expected extensions beyond the initial year
• Wave 1 data migration with ongoing support through mock loads and validation cycles
• Heavy focus on reporting, analytics, and data quality across ERP and custom source systems
Key Responsibilities
• Perform hands-on Wave 1 data migration activities including data mapping and source-to-target validation.
• Support mock data loads, troubleshoot issues, and validate data transformations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and manage data load files sourced from SAP and custom/niche applications.
• Validate data models, transformations, and reporting outputs within the data platform.
• Support reporting and analytics efforts, partnering with business and technical teams.
• Analyze data flowing from multiple systems, including API-based source integrations.
• Work independently and take ownership of deliverables in a fast-moving ERP environment.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have Requirements
• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience in an ERP implementation or migration.
• Strong experience with data migration, data mapping, and transformation validation.
• 7+ years of overall experience in data, analytics, or ERP-focused roles.
• Strong SQL experience with the ability to validate data models and transformations.
• Experience supporting reporting and analytics initiatives in ERP environments.
• Ability to work independently and ramp up quickly on complex projects.
• Experience with enterprise data coming from multiple source systems.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud experience
• Snowflake experience (preferred but not required if SQL skills are strong).
• Experience with API-based data ingestion or integration.
• Power BI experience supporting enterprise reporting and analytics.
