Job Description
• Provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities to individuals with diverse behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Observe, document, and report behaviors, symptoms, and overall functioning.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with program requirements and policies.
• Assist with the implementation of individualized service or treatment plans under the guidance of clinical or supervisory staff.
• Support individuals in developing coping strategies, emotional regulation, and independent living skills.
• Respond to challenging behaviors or crises using de-escalation techniques and approved intervention strategies.
• Assist individuals with personal hygiene needs, including bathing, toileting, and related care tasks as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment through routine housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, dishwashing, surface disinfection, trash removal, and bed making.

Required Skills & Experience
• Basic knowledge of psychology, mental health, or social work
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Some experience with behavior management for individuals diagnosed with mental illness and developmental disabilities
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• CNA license
• Previous work as a psych technician
