Insight Global is looking for a Technology Product Manager for a large retail company in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will be dedicated to delivering business value to drive sales, enhance efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction through the creation of high-quality products. This assignment will focus on providing incremental value by driving product changes and collaborating closely with developers, designers, and business partners. Assignment tasks include conducting thorough business reviews, effectively communicating and presenting across all organizational levels, and supporting cross-functional product teams. The assignment demands proficiency in managing product roadmaps, applications, and reporting models within the Microsoft Suite. The contractor will support a dedicated Agile engineering squad. They will partner closely with an Engineering Manager, a Tech Lead, and seven Software Engineers. They will report to the Product Management Manager.
Deliverables/what they will do in the first 30-60 days:
30 Days: Audit the current delivery application architecture, review the existing product backlog, and shadow current team members to understand the release cadence.
60 Days: Fully own backlog grooming and sprint planning. Successfully write, define, and launch at least one minor feature or key enhancement to production.
Day to day:
• Translate customer delivery needs into clear technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring engineering teams have well-defined, executable work for upcoming sprints.
• Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring technical execution aligns with business goals.
• Monitor app performance and user behavior metrics to identify friction points in the delivery flow and propose data-driven enhancements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives) to remove blockers and clarify requirements.
Pay rate: 48-50/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of technical product management using Jira, Confluence, Postman (or similar for API testing) and analytics platforms (ex: Google Analytics, Big Query)
• Proven experience shipping enterprise-level consumer-facing web or mobile applications.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with software engineers to deliver complex technical products.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience
• Strong ability to write technical user stories
• API product management experience and strong understanding of how backend services connect to front-end experiences
• System architecture understanding
• Experience with stakeholder management
• Data analysis experience using SQL
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with supply chain/logistics or e-commerce fulfillment (BOPIS, BOSS, last-mile)
• Experience with UX/UI design principles
