Job Description

This role sits at the center of our client's marketing activation ecosystem, owning the orchestration of systems, data, and workflows that drive customer communications—primarily focused on email.
The Product Manager will bridge marketing, data, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution of customer journeys from audience creation through final outbound messaging.

Core Responsibilities
• Own the end-to-end marketing activation workflow, connecting:
o Creative/content (AEM)
o Customer data & audience segmentation (CDP – GrowthLoop or similar)
o Outbound messaging platforms (MessageGears / ESP)
• Drive customer journey orchestration, ensuring data, creative, and technology align to deliver targeted communications
• Build and manage the product roadmap for marketing activation capabilities
• Translate business needs into user stories and product requirements
• Partner closely with engineering to support technical integrations and system connectivity
• Coordinate cross-functional handoffs between:
o Creative teams
o Audience/data teams
o CDP and ESP systems
• Ensure audience segments are accurately transformed into live outbound campaigns

Key Focus Areas
• Heavy emphasis on email marketing / ESP-driven activation
• Ownership of the final mile of marketing execution (creative → audience → deployment)
• Driving strategy around how MarTech systems integrate and scale
• Supporting a highly technical marketing organization (not a pure marketing or content role)

Pay Rate: $60-70/HR USD - negotiable based on experience

Required Skills & Experience

• Product Management experience (mid-senior level) in a technical environment
• Strong background in MarTech / Marketing Technology ecosystems
• Experience with customer journey orchestration and marketing activation workflows
• Hands-on exposure to:
o Customer Data Platforms (CDPs)
o Email Service Providers (ESPs)
• Proven experience working on system integrations across multiple platforms
• Ability to:
o Read and interpret technical documentation
o Partner effectively with engineering teams
o Operate in Agile environments (user stories, backlog, roadmap ownership)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• GrowthLoop or similar CDP platforms
• MessageGears or other ESP tools
• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Adobe CDP or comparable platforms
• Exposure to SQL or working with data teams
