Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic ERP localization initiatives in Brazil for one of our Manufacturing & Technology clients. This role combines project management responsibilities with acting as a product owner for localization solutions, ensuring compliance with Brazil’s complex tax and regulatory environment while supporting continuous system improvements. This PM will also play a key role in supporting our clients business expansion, including the implementation of new modules and processes for newly acquired entities and operation growth in the region. The region consists of Brazil and other LATAM areas like Mexico. Key Responsibilities include the following:

• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in functional processes and systems.
• Oversee a portfolio of IT initiatives and projects, ensuring consistent and timely status reporting.
• Gather and define business requirements, manage backlog, and prioritize initiatives.
• Proceed with the qualification (business case, ROI, scope, risks) of the demands and submit to the approval gates when needed.
• Prepare and manage project timelines, budget, stakeholders, risks, and deliverables, ensuring high quality and on-time execution.
• Lead implementation, enhancement, and sustainment projects related to ERP localization in Brazil
• Act as Product Owner for localization solutions, being responsible for product roadmap, contracts, and tickets monitoring. These are the solutions:
o ERP localization modules (Brazil)
o Tax and regulatory reporting systems
• Collaborate closely with functional areas (as Finance and Tax, among others), and also global Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and other IT teams.
• Support the implementation and sustainment of Brazil’s Tax Reform, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Support and manage the implementation of special tax regimes.
• Drive the rollout and implementation of business processes and modules for new Wabtec entities and operational expansion projects related to:
o Order to Cash (O2C)
o Procure to Pay (P2P)
• Ensure proper integration between ERP systems and third-party tax solutions

Required Skills & Experience

o Experience as a hands-on Project Manager
 Preferably 5+ years
o Knowledge of Brazilian Tax Reform and statutory reporting requirements
 Strong understanding of Brazilian tax legislation
o Experience with ERP localization projects
o Experience with Oracle EBS
 Either hands on experience or experience supporting Oracle EBS related projects
o Degree in either Accounting, Finance, or IT related degree

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

o Project management certifications (PMP, Agile, Scrum, etc.)
