Job Description

Strategic AI Leadership

Define and own an enterprise-wide AI strategy that is bold, practical, and directly tied to our client’s business goals—not a technology roadmap sitting in IT, but a business transformation agenda backed by the CEO.
Partner with senior leaders across every function to identify, prioritize, and embed AI opportunities that drive efficiency, revenue, customer experience, and competitive differentiation.
Serve as our client’s internal AI authority, staying at the forefront of the field, separating signal from noise, and advising the organization on what to adopt, what to build, and what to watch.
Establish governance, standards, and risk frameworks for responsible AI deployment across the enterprise.

AI Innovation & Deployment

Define and manage the enterprise AI portfolio, prioritizing initiatives that deliver measurable business value.
Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI and generative AI solutions that solve real business problems—from intelligent automation and predictive analytics to AI-powered customer experiences and workforce productivity tools.
Build and lead an AI Center of Excellence that governs, accelerates, and scales AI initiatives, making it easier for every team to experiment, build, and deploy with confidence.
Drive rapid prototyping and iteration; move ideas from concept to production with urgency and rigor.
Cultivate strategic partnerships with leading AI vendors, startups, and research institutions to keep our client ahead of the curve.
Track and report realized business impact from AI initiatives, including efficiency gains, revenue growth, and customer experience improvements.

Data Strategy & Governance

Oversee our client’s enterprise data platforms, ensuring data is reliable, accessible, and structured to fuel AI at scale.
Drive enterprise-wide data literacy and democratization, building the belief and capability across all teams that data is a strategic asset they own and use.
Identify opportunities to unlock new value from data, including competitive insights, operational intelligence, and emerging monetization strategies.
Define and champion our client’s enterprise analytics and decision intelligence strategy, ensuring leaders have timely, trusted insights to drive smarter decisions and operational excellence.
Lead the evolution of modern business intelligence and self-service analytics capabilities, empowering teams across the enterprise to confidently access and act on data while maintaining strong governance and integrity.

Enterprise Architecture

Lead enterprise architecture strategy to ensure our client’s technology foundation is AI-ready, cloud-forward, and built for agility.
Define architecture roadmaps that support modernization, integration, and scalable growth.
Ensure technology investments are aligned to strategic priorities and deliver measurable ROI.

Organizational Leadership

Build and lead a high-performing team of AI, data, and architecture professionals who are motivated by impact, energized by innovation, and committed to excellence.
Create a team culture that mirrors our client’s values—particularly Intellect, Agility, and Innovation—and that attracts top talent who want to do meaningful work.
Mentor and grow leaders within the team, investing in the next generation of AI capability across the organization.
Lead with transparency, directness, and empathy, setting a high bar while building genuine trust with your team.

Stakeholder Engagement

Serve as our client’s primary ambassador for AI, communicating progress and opportunity with clarity and confidence to the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board as appropriate.
Translate complex AI concepts into compelling business narratives that inspire investment and action.
Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure business units are aligned, equipped, and energized to adopt AI-powered ways of working.

$300,000 to $375,000 per year annual salary.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• 12+ years of progressive experience in AI, data, and technology leadership, including at least 5 years in senior or executive roles.
• Led an enterprise-wide AI rollout, from strategy to execution
• Demonstrated track record of building and deploying AI solutions including machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation that delivered measurable business outcomes.
• Hands-on fluency in modern AI/ML platforms, LLMs, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise data ecosystems.
• Proven ability to lead complex, enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
• Experience building and scaling high-performing technical teams from the ground up.
• Exceptional executive presence with the ability to engage and influence at the C-suite and board level.
