Job Description: Senior Manager, IT Supply Chain Solutions
Position Purpose
This position is responsible for providing leadership to an IT team. The Senior Manager,
Information Technology is a leadership role that is responsible for setting the direction for a team
of IT professionals, developing and implementing IT strategy, managing financials, and
selecting, developing and motivating personnel.
As the Senior Manager of IT Supply Chain Solutions Delivery, you will act as the right-hand and
trusted deputy to the IT Director, Supply Chain. You will be responsible for driving the
execution of our entire portfolio of supply chain technology projects, including our strategic
implementations of SAP Transportation Management (TM) and SAP Extended Warehouse
Management (EWM), while unifying and maturing our technical teams into a cohesive, high
performing "Solutions Delivery" organization.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
• 20% - Strategy & Planning:
o Works with business partners and IT leaders to develop and implement IT
strategy.
o Provides direction to the team to ensure that the strategy is implemented.
o Partners with the IT Director on strategic planning, budget management for the
Capex project portfolio, and vendor management for key implementation
partners.
• 40% - Delivery & Execution:
o Acts as the single point of leadership for the technical delivery of all supply chain
IT projects, managing day-to-day escalations and resource conflicts to protect the
Director's strategic focus.
o Serves as the primary IT partner to the enterprise Product and EPMO (Enterprise
Project Management Office) organizations, ensuring seamless collaboration and
alignment on project goals, timelines, and resources.
o Oversees the successful delivery of strategic SAP TM and EWM deployments,
ensuring they meet business requirements and adhere to architectural best
practices.
o Monitors and directs the team on the creation of solutions that are well
architected, scalable, and supportable.
• 40% - People Leadership:
o Selects, develops, and motivates personnel to ensure a high-performing team.
o Provides direction to a team of IT professionals, including direct and indirect
reports.
o Leads, mentors, and unifies the Managers of Warehousing Solutions and
Transportation Solutions, fostering a collaborative, silo-free culture.
o Takes direct responsibility for the career planning, performance management, and
skill development of the technical teams, including engineers, analysts, and their
managers.
o Champions a culture of engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and
accountability.
Nature and Scope
• Reports to the Director, Information Technology Supply Chain.
• This position has direct reports.
Salary: $150,000-$180,000 depending on skills and experience

Required Skills & Experience
Preferred Qualifications & Profile
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology with a strong focus on the Supply
Chain domain.
• 5+ years of formal people leadership experience in a technical environment, with a
proven track record of managing and developing both managers and senior individual
contributors.
• Balanced Leader (50/50 Business & Technical): You possess a deep, credible
understanding of the SAP Supply Chain ecosystem (EWM, TM, WM) but your core
strength is in people leadership, process management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Proven Delivery Experience: Demonstrable success leading the technical delivery of
large-scale, complex enterprise projects in partnership with Business, Product and PMO
organizations.
• Exceptional People Leader: You are passionate about building teams, mentoring talent,
and developing career paths. Your past direct reports would describe you as a supportive
and effective manager.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Master's Degree in a related field is a plus.
