Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Consultant with deep experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and hands‑on expertise with Epic data sources, Azure cloud technologies, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI. This role focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing analytics solutions that drive operational efficiency, financial performance, and strategic decision‑making across the revenue cycle. Day-to-day, this person will be working on RCM dashboards and will spend their day ensuring data pipelines run smoothly, transforming Epic data in Azure, and building analytics that support revenue cycle operations. They will be tasked with checking Azure Data Factory pipeline runs, validating Power BI dataset refreshes, and reviewing key RCM metrics for anomalies. Much of the day is spent engineering and modeling data. They also will develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, writing DAX measures, optimizing performance, and translating complex RCM workflows into clear visual insights. Collaboration internally and communication externally is a huge part of the role, whether meeting with revenue cycle leaders to gather requirements, aligning definitions with Epic analysts, or supporting end‑users.

Required Skills & Experience
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Strong expertise in Power BI development, including data modeling, DAX, and dashboard design.
• Experience working within Epic
• Hands‑on experience integrating and analyzing Epic data (Clarity, Caboodle, or RWB).
• Proficiency with Azure services, including Azure SQL, Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory for ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Deep understanding of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) workflows, KPIs, and operational metrics.
• Ability to translate complex data (specifically healthcare) into actionable insights for financial and operational leaders.
Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams and supporting end‑users.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
• Epic certifications (Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito, RWB).
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks, or Python.
• Background in consulting or analytics leadership.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and data governance standards (HIPAA, HITRUST).
