Lineman

Our client is looking to hire Line workers for Sports Lighting Projects. Our Lineman responsibilities include but is not limited to providing routine maintenance, repairs and new connections power lines, installing street light fixtures. As a key part of our team, our Lineman must have the expertise and a strong commitment to safety while also delivering exceptional customer service. Other responsibilities include:

-Complete daily maintenance and testing of power line systems
-Pull wires or cables through conduit or between access points
-Build and install line fixtures, poles and guard rails
-Perform service upgrades for existing customers
-Assist in the installation of the new lines
-Inspect cable reel trucks to ensure proper working order
-Rectify faults in the power line system
-Restring wire line systems
-Install neutral and grounding systems
-Install street light fixtures
-Maintain proficiency in safety procedures

-Valid state driver's license
-4+ years of Line worker/ Lineman Experience in Overhead and Underground Distribution
-High School Diploma or GED
-Basic computer skills
-Ability to climb poles quickly, safely and regularly
Lift and maneuver heavy objects or equipment
-Work on the roof of buildings or tall structures
-Troubleshoot and ensure proper operation of power systems
-Commercial Drivers License (CDL) with airbrakes certification

-Experience working for Georgia Power or other electrical contracting competitors
