Job Description

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .Net 8+ (C#)
• Build scalable and secure RESTful services for internal consumption
• Collaborate with front-end developers, architects, product managers, and QA to define and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable and testable code following best practices and coding standards
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and scalability
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
• Contribute to architecture decisions
• Ensure system security through authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices




Compensation:
$14.00/hr to $18.00/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience with .Net C#
• Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programing principles
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Proficient with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP preferred)
• Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Azure DevOps)
• Strong understanding of security best practices (OWASP, authentication, authorization)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
• Knowledge of message queues (e.g., Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka)
• Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD), CQRS, or clean architecture patterns
• Exposure to front-end frameworks (Angular, React) is a plus, though not required
