Summary:
The QA Lead responsibilities encompass testing mobile, desktop, and web-based applications across various platforms, developing and executing comprehensive test plans, and verifying fixes through regression testing. Additionally, the role involves documentation and reporting of test processes and results, coordination with internal squads to understand testing requirements and team management to ensure adherence to deadlines and process improvements. The QA Lead also plays a crucial role in strategy development, guiding the QA team in adopting new testing technologies and approaches to enhance overall quality assurance standards across the department.
Responsibilities:
Testing
Proficient in testing mobile applications across various platforms (iOS, Android) and devices to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet quality standards.
Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies, creating and maintaining automation scripts and optimizing test coverage.
Ability to identify, isolate and document bugs and issues, providing clear and detailed reports to developers and stakeholders, and verifying fixes through regression testing.
Documentation & Reporting
Writing test cases and maintaining clear documentation of the test processes and results.
Logging bugs and irregularities encountered during the testing phase into a bug tracking system.
Strategy Development/Process Improvement:
Developing testing strategies and processes that align with the overall departmental goals including what methodologies to use and standards to follow.
Identifying areas for process improvement within the QA process and implementing changes.
Executing the integration of new testing technologies and approaches.
Evaluating new technologies for adoption across the department
Stakeholder Communication:
Serving as the main point of communication between the QA team and other stakeholders, including data developers, program managers and campaign analysts.
Presenting concise and informative summaries of team-level results, including testing progress, defect metrics and overall quality assurance performance, to higher management for strategic decision-making and alignment with organizational objectives.
Pay Range: $60-$70/hr

Bachelor's degree or knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
Experience in email marketing operations, familiarity with email marketing platforms and understanding of email campaign workflows.
Experience in quality assurance methodologies, particularly in the context of digital marketing campaigns and email delivery.
Strong leadership qualities with experience in leading QA teams, setting priorities and ensuring high standards of quality across campaigns.
Knowledge of email delivery systems, HTML/CSS, email rendering across different devices and clients and experience with testing tools specific to email marketing.
Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate QA strategies and report findings to stakeholders at various levels of the organization
Previous work experience at a Fortune 100 Retail company
