A client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Data Technician. This individual will join the Operations Support team, providing essential quality control and data management support to meet company requirements. Responsibilities involve the following but not limited to:

• Conduct thorough video review of data collected by third-party contractors to identify anomalies related to natural gas pipeline damage prevention
• Ensure all documentation meets company specifications and requirements
• Manage, store and review project deliverables for accuracy and completeness (i.e., data files, pictures, videos, maps, etc.)
• Collect, compile, and enter data into company work applications
• Evaluate, research, organize, and interpret data accurately to provide actionable insights
• Identify and correct data entry errors, ensuring the highest level of data integrity
• Assist with the project closeout process
• Relay data findings and interpretations to management

Required Skills & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience in data entry
• 5+ years in a data research or investigative role (such as auditing, claims, regulatory, security services, financial, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent observational skills
• Experience with MS Office applications, SharePoint and Smartsheet
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• General understanding of city and county infrastructure
• Natural gas, telecommunications, water, wastewater, sewer, or public works experience
• Knowledge and/or experience with damage prevention programs (i.e., 811 locate ticket systems, watch and protect, cross bore impingement discovery and remediation, etc.)
• Experience with Quality Management processes like the PDCA methodology (Plan, Do, Check, Act)
• Experience monitoring information systems for auditing of images and/or records (i.e., CCTV surveillance, financial transactions, regulatory compliance, etc.)
