Job Description
Manage, coordinate, and perform administrative and procurement support activities required by assigned Project/Program Manager and government personnel. Project Coordinators assist Project/Program Managers with managing the project, program or portfolio team to meet the project or sponsor objectives. Project Coordinators assist in monitoring and controlling the work of producing the products, services, or results that the project was undertaken to produce. Success is measured by budget compliance, timeliness, and degree of customer satisfaction. Project Coordinators are empowered with resources to enable individuals to work towards a career goal of becoming a successful Project Manager.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain project budget
• Provide financial reporting to PM for monthly reporting to project sponsor.
• Provide purchasing support and inventory management to Project PM.
• Provide adhoc administrative support to PM as needed.
Contract at 30-35/hour depending on level of experience. potential for permanent conversion at 60-75K, depending on level of experience.

Required Skills & Experience
• accredited STEM Bachelor's degree
• Ability to organize work effectively and prioritize objectives with a high level of independent judgment and initiative. Skilled in managing competing priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to research new topics and master new technologies
• Excellent communication through email and phone calls, interpersonal skills and attention to details.
• Strong reasoning and problem solving.
• A self-starter able to function independently and see complex tasks through to completion.
• Create functional working relationships with individuals of different technical backgrounds and experiences.
• Ability to prepare, review, revise and distribute technical documents and reports and handle general correspondence of a routine nature.
• Experience with modern operating systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• 4 years' experience as an office administrator or procurement specialist working in an environment supporting technical and engineering focused clients.
• 4 years' experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
• Microsoft Office: Project, Database entry Property tracking and accountability.
• A strong understanding of the required technologies and methodologies such as Agile software development, software development life cycle, systems engineering and risk management framework.
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
• An understanding of industry standard system testing processes.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver technical briefings.
• Experience fulfilling regulatory and security requirements.
• Ability to generate requirements from business processes.
• Digital organization skills to manage vast digital file systems.
