Lead Commercial Plant Mechanic

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Commercial Plant Mechanic to join their team for a 6-month contract to hire opportunity. This candidate will be responsible for leading the maintenance, operation, and repair of mechanical, utility, and associated systems across assigned facilities. This position was newly created to support significant upcoming investment in the hospital’s central plant, including major equipment upgrades over the next several years. The Lead Mechanic will play a key role in maintaining, improving, and modernizing plant operations while supporting day-to-day facilities maintenance across the campus. This is not a desk role and does not include direct reports, but it does require leadership through influence, technical expertise, and collaboration.

• Healthcare facilities experience (Supporting hospital Plants)
• Experience troubleshooting boilers, chillers, and vacuum pumps, etc.
• Comfortable with high ticket volume
• Self-starter; proactive mindset
• Strong interpersonal skills (team player)

• Stationary Engineer License
