Job Description

• Develop detailed 3D structural designs and 2D engineering drawings for aircraft components and assemblies, including fuselage, wing, and supporting structures, using Creo and/or NX.
• Translate engineering requirements, loads, and design criteria into manufacturable structural designs that meet strength, fatigue, and damage tolerance requirements.
• Support the integration of advanced materials, including composite structures and high-strength metallic alloys, ensuring designs align with program weight, performance, and safety objectives.
• Collaborate closely with structural analysts, stress engineers, manufacturing, and supplier teams to resolve design issues and ensure producibility.
• Participate in Boeing’s gated design review process, supporting technical reviews related to structural integrity, weight, and compliance with airworthiness standards.
• Maintain accurate configuration control and documentation throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring traceability of design changes.
Support structural design updates based on testing results, service feedback, and certification requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in structural design
• Professional experience in aircraft, aerospace, military structural design.
• Strong hands-on experience with CAD software such as Creo and/or Siemens NX in a production engineering environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, structural requirements, and technical specifications.
• Working knowledge of aircraft structural concepts, including load paths, fatigue, and damage tolerance.
Experience working in a regulated aerospace environment with formal design review and configuration management processes.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience supporting Boeing programs or working within Boeing design standards and processes.
• Familiarity with composite aircraft structures, including carbon fiber–reinforced materials and bonded assemblies.
• Exposure to aeroelastic considerations, weight optimization, and structural trade studies.
Experience collaborating with stress, materials, and manufacturing engineering teams
