Job Description

• Collaborate with clinical and IT teams to gather requirements for Beaker workflows.
• Perform system build, configuration, and maintenance for Epic Beaker CP & AP
• Develop and execute test plans for new builds and enhancements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Beaker CP/AP functionality and integrations.
• Document build specifications, workflows, and change requests.
• Provide end-user support and training during implementation and post-go-live.
• Participate in upgrade cycles and ensure system compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Certification in Epic Beaker (CP), Certification in Epic Beaker (AP)
• Experience designing and supporting the transition of integrated lab instrumentation from current state to Epic Beaker, utilizing Data Innovations (DI) middleware
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into system design and build specifications.
• Proven experience with Epic Beaker implementation and build configuration.
• Familiarity with HL7 interfaces and laboratory information systems (LIS).
• Strong understanding of clinical pathology workflows and laboratory operations.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Knowledge of Beaker Data Courier and environment migration.
• Exposure to Epic Foundation System (EFS) and best practices.
• Background in informatics or laboratory IT.
Experience with automation tools and workflow optimization.
