Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Project Manager in St. Petersburg, FL. This project manager will work on engineering design projects relating to building technology, energy storage, security, utilities, or capital equipment. This person will be responsible for preparing and delivering quotes on new projects. They will interact with design team, engineers, customers, stakeholders, supply chain on a daily basis to deliver on new design product development. This person will be working on 2-3 projects at a time depending on the size. They will ensure all project technological requirements and objectives are being correctly gathered, understood, and executed. They will manage these projects by facilitating, budgeting, quoting, forecasting, the progress of design requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in engineering field
8+ years of working experience in related technical engineering background
Project Management experience in design and new product development environment
Ability to apply themselves in order to provide strategic direction on deliverables for projects according to customer requirements in a timely manner and within budget
Project Management experience relating to designing, scheduling, risk mitigation, and facilitation
Ability to work hand in hand with customers, stakeholders, upper-level management, engineers both internally and externally

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

PMP Certification
Industrial, energy storage, or building technology industry experience
