Job Description

The phlebotomist is responsible for safely collecting blood and other specimens from patients while ensuring accurate patient identification and proper labeling. They prepare, process, and transport samples to the laboratory, following strict safety and quality protocols. Additionally, they support patient care by maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and providing a professional, reassuring experience for patients. The day starts with fast paced high volume blood draws and then slows down into the afternoon. The phlebotomist will work on pulling orders for the physician during down time.

Required Skills & Experience

-Strong phlebotomy experience (quick & accurate)
-HS Diploma or GED
-Professional & Friendly good attitude
-Computer Proficiency in EMR systems
