A client in Ocoee, FL is looking for an Applications Architect to join their team. This individual will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for defining and driving enterprise application architecture strategy. Responsibilities include making high-level design decisions, establishing development standards, and ensuring scalable, efficient solutions across cross-functional projects. The architect will lead technical teams, provide guidance throughout the full software development lifecycle, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business goals. This role also involves designing and implementing solutions leveraging Microsoft technologies, including .NET, Angular, SharePoint, and Power Platform, while driving continuous improvement and innovation across the organization

Required Skills & Experience
• 7+ years of experience as a software architect, lead developer, or development manager
• Strong experience with enterprise application architecture and system design across large-scale environments
• Expertise in Microsoft tech stack including .NET, C#, Angular, SQL Server, and Azure
• Experience designing and implementing scalable, enterprise-level solutions and architecture standards
• Experience leading technical teams and overseeing full SDLC from development through production
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall)
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture frameworks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience with SharePoint and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Prior experience working within government environments
• Experience with cloud architecture (Azure, AWS – PaaS/IaaS)
• Familiarity with APIs, DevOps pipelines, and modern integration tools
• Experience with ESRI, Microsoft Graph API, or other enterprise integrations
