Job Description

We are seeking a Project Manager (PM) with a strong engineering background to join our dynamic team. This role will report directly to the President and will play a crucial part in organizing, tracking, and driving projects within our engineering department.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably with a background in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering. We are looking for someone who can not only manage project timelines and budgets but also possesses the technical understanding to contribute to process improvements and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a diverse portfolio of projects, including both large-scale new product developments and smaller sustainment/accessory projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Ensure timely completion of all project milestones and documentation.
• Monitor and track project expenses, providing data for business decision-making.
• Facilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration with manufacturing engineering, quality, and other departments to ensure smooth transitions to production.
• Proactively identify and address potential delays, proposing solutions and escalating issues when necessary.
• Help optimize engineering processes and workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
2-3 years of experience in project management, ideally within a product development (Engineering background to be manufacturing, mechanical and/ or electrical)
Strong understanding of engineering processes and product lifecycles.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to influence decisions and drive collaboration across teams.
Proficiency in project management software (experience with Workfront is a plus - Adobe platform).
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges
