Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an SAP Basis engineer to join the team of one of our supply chain clients. Day-to-day, around 50% of this position will be highly concentrated on the administration and support of SAP systems across S/4 HANA, BTP, PI/PO, Datasphere, and other platforms, with a focus on hybrid environments, cloud migrations, and database performance optimization. The other 50% will be a split of cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external vendors, as well as understanding the architecture of their SAP landscape and providing thought leadership/strategy for continuous improvement and for what is to come. To add, they'll manage installations, configurations, upgrades, and system refreshes for SAP applications and HANA database and provide BTP administration and support for CPI and API Management. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and a team player.

Required Skills & Experience
- 7-9+ years of hands-on administrative experience with SAP Basis
- Knowledge of RISE with SAP, including S/4HANA , BTP platform administration, and NetWeaver
- Proficiency with HANA databases, including strong performance tuning and monitoring capabilities
- Ability to provide strategic direction and recommendations for SAP Basis support and testing
- Background with SAP OS/DB migrations and managing service requests
- Scripting skills (Shell, Python) and experience operating in an agile environment
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, IP management, firewalls, and SSL certificates
- Experience with SAP SaaS solutions: SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur
- Great communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to work with global teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- SAP Certifications
- SAP HANA DB 2.0 admin tools (XS Admin, Web IDE, HANA Studio, SDA)
- Hands-on experience with IAS, SAML2, and advanced authentication
- Familiarity with CALM for change and alert management
- Experience with Early Watch Reporting and Solution Manager integrations
