Integration System Analyst

he Revenue Cycle Systems Configuration Specialist is responsible for the backend configuration, integration, and optimization of Electronic Medical Records (ECW) and revenue cycle platforms (Waystar). This role ensures accurate charge capture, claim creation, payer enrollment, and seamless system communication to support efficient billing and reimbursement processes. The position also supports analytical reconciliation efforts through cross-training and system validation.
Key Responsibilities
Backend System Configuration

Configure and maintain backend functionality within eClinicalWorks (ECW) to support billing and revenue cycle workflows.
Perform system setup, maintenance, and optimization to ensure accurate charge capture and claim generation.
Troubleshoot configuration issues to ensure systems function as intended.

Waystar System Configuration & Practice Onboarding

Configure Waystar for newly acquired practices, including backend setup and system activation.
Ensure all payers are properly enrolled under the correct Tax Identification Numbers (Tax IDs).
Verify the practice’s ability to submit claims successfully through assigned Tax IDs.
Modify and fine-tune system settings to ensure payer rules, workflows, and submissions function correctly.

ECW Workflow & Billing Integration

Configure and maintain workflow rules within ECW that directly impact billing and claims processing.
Ensure alignment between ECW billing codes and Waystar claim requirements, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Validate and maintain interoperability between ECW and Waystar to ensure seamless data exchange.

Reconciliation & Analytical Support

Support reconciliation processes through cross-training, ensuring charges are captured and claims are created accurately.
Assist with analytical validation of billing data to identify issues in upstream workflows or system configurations.

3+ years of Revenue Cycle Integration Experience
Experience with ECW or Waystar
Experience working with Physician Practices

Analytical experience
Advanced Excel- X look ups
