Job Description
A client of Insight Global is seeking a senior-level Business Analyst with deep expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter to support production operations and ongoing initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring system stability, troubleshooting issues, and partnering with business and technical teams to enhance PolicyCenter functionality.
Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in daily stand-ups, leading and contributing to workshops, gathering and refining business and system requirements, and translating them into detailed user stories. A significant portion of this role will focus on production support, including triaging defects, analyzing root causes, and coordinating with development and QA teams to resolve issues efficiently.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience within Guidewire PolicyCenter, particularly in a production support capacity. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment, handling competing priorities, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Experience with integrations, third-party systems, and certifications will differentiate top candidates.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience working with Guidewire
5+ years of experience specifically within a PolicyCenter environment
7+ years of total Business Analyst experience (must include Guidewire-focused BA work)
Strong experience supporting Guidewire PolicyCenter in a production support environment
Proven experience writing detailed user stories, gathering complex requirements, and supporting full SDLC processes
Extensive experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog grooming)
Experience triaging issues, working with production defects, and coordinating resolutions with technical teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Deep experience with Agile methodologies
Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter integrations
Exposure to third-party integrations within Guidewire
Experience with upstream/downstream system dependencies in production environments
Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter or related)
Business Analyst certifications (CBAP, CCBA, etc.)
