Job Description
The Construction Mechanical Engineer Level 3 plans, directs, and executes technical support for the construction and commissioning of Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) projects. The engineer provides expert support for gas turbine installation and commissioning, including foundation verification, alignment, leveling, seating plate installation, turbine and auxiliary installation, grouting, generator coupling, and associated systems such as piping, SSS clutch, thrust bearing, lube oil, control oil, and thermal insulation. Responsibilities also include reviewing, revising, and developing OEM erection and commissioning procedures as required.

Required Skills & Experience
· Engineering degree, preferably mechanical + 7 years of experience with Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines & Generators.
· 10+ Years of experience in power plant design, hands on installation/commissioning if no degree.
· Knowledgeable with Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP) projects and maintenance.
· Experienced within power systems within the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, EPC (Black & Veatch, Kiewit, TIC, Sargent & Laundy), Powerplant, and Renewables industry.
· Experience with P&IDs, GT & ST alignment, Foundation, Piping, Shaft Alignment (Motors, pumps, fans), Heat exchangers, Turbine Excitation
· Knowledge of standard codes (ASME, ISO, OSHA, IEEE)
Soft skills are a must! Great written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and analytical skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Able to speak Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Japanese.
