Insight Global is looking to bring on a Senior I&C Engineer for a Utilities client in the Apollo Beach, FL 33534 area. This individual will support capital projects and power plant operations across its generation fleet. This role is ideal for someone with strong project execution experience, hands-on DCS/PLC expertise, and the ability to collaborate with vendors and engineering partners. Additional responsibilities include:
Lead instrumentation & controls projects within power generation facilities
Develop/review loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and control narratives
Support and troubleshoot DCS/PLC systems (Emerson Ovation, ABB, etc.)
Partner with vendors, OEMs, and AE firms on design and execution
Support plant outages and operational troubleshooting as needed

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (ABET)
4+ years of relevant experience
Experience supporting industrial or utility-based projects (controls, maintenance, or capital work)
Working knowledge of instrumentation, process controls, and system integration
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience in power generation environments
Familiarity with Emerson Ovation, ABB, or similar control systems
Exposure to engineering consulting firms or projects supporting utilities
Engineer-in-Training (FE) or Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
Prior experience overseeing contractors or junior engineers
