Insight Global is seeking a Software Development Engineer for a client in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role involves designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging software programs for enhancements and new products, specifically for small to medium-sized real-time process control applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and debug software programs.
Enhance and create new products for real-time process control applications.
Apply software engineering and programming principles to product development and support.
Utilize knowledge of commonly used software languages, development concepts, practices, and procedures.
Plan and accomplish goals with limited experience and judgment.
Exercise creativity and latitude in problem-solving.
Contribute to analysis and investigation to resolve issues.

BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field
A minimum of 4 years of experience in software development or related field
Experience with C/C++, C#, Java, Python
Experience with embedded systems
Experience with Software Lifecycle Management / Collaboration tools (e.g., Git, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence, etc.)
