Job Description
Insight Global is is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support its growing Airfield Division. This individual will work alongside a Senior Project Manager, Project Engineer, and Superintendent on airport infrastructure projects across the Southeast.
The ideal candidate is looking to grow into a Project Manager role and has a foundation in construction project management, particularly around project financials, documentation, and field coordination.
Responsibilities
Assist with project financial management, budgets, and cost tracking
Support project execution from preconstruction through closeout
Manage and track:
RFIs
Submittals
Change Orders
Pay Applications
Project Documentation
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and field personnel
Assist Senior PMs and Project Engineers with day-to-day project operations
Support airport construction projects throughout the Southeast

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
Experience working for a General Contractor or Specialty Contractor/Subcontractor
Understanding of construction project management processes
Experience with:
RFIs
Submittals
Change Orders
Budgets
Pay Applications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Strong preference for an Engineering background:
- Civil Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Clean background required
-Must be eligible to obtain airport badges
Travel & Schedule
Projects located throughout the Southeast
Typical schedule is 3 weeks on-site followed by a long weekend home
Flights home provided during rotation schedules
Must be comfortable traveling for extended periods
Upcoming project expected in South Carolina
