Job Description

Insight Global is partnering with one of it's enterprise Automotive clients located in Deerfield Beach, FL who is looking for a Knowledge Management Consultant to join their team (sitting hybrid onsite 3x/week). We are seeking an experienced Knowledge Management (KM) Consultant to define and begin execution of a Human Resources Knowledge Management Strategy. This is a hands-on role responsible for building the foundation for scalable knowledge management—improving content quality, governance, and accessibility to enable AI, self-service, and a modern employee experience. This position can pay an hourly rate of $45-56/HR.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Roadmap
• Define HR KM vision, strategy, and success metrics
• Align KM to AI, self-service, and digital experience priorities
• Develop a phased roadmap (foundation → pilot → scale)
Governance & Operating Model
• Design ownership, roles, and accountability model
• Establish content governance, standards, and decision frameworks
• Implement mechanisms for ongoing content quality management
Taxonomy & Information Architecture
• Build a unified taxonomy and metadata model
• Design content structure for human and AI consumption
Content Standards & Lifecycle
• Create content standards, templates, and style guidelines
• Define content lifecycle processes (create, review, update, retire)
Pilot & Execution
• Lead a high-impact pilot (e.g., HR support or benefits content)
• Audit and remediate content to improve accuracy, clarity, and findability
• Validate improvements through user testing and AI performance
Enablement & Adoption
• Establish a distributed ownership model (COE champions)
• Develop training, playbooks, and enablement materials
• Drive early adoption and behavior change
Measurement & Sustainability
• Define KPIs (content quality, findability, usage, AI accuracy)
• Stand up metrics and feedback loops
• Deliver a scalable KM operating model

Required Skills & Experience

Required Experience
• 7–10+ years in Knowledge Management, Content Strategy, or Information Architecture
• Proven experience building KM programs from the ground up
• Strong track record in governance design and implementation
• Experience remediating enterprise content at scale
• Familiarity with AI-enabled knowledge systems or semantic search
• Experience with platforms such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, or enterprise knowledge bases
