Job Description
An employer is looking for a Senior Data SDET to lead testing efforts for the client’s large, ERP platform modernization project. The client is implementing a new procurement/ accounting platform, moving away from their legacy, home-grown solution. You will be tasked with leading all testing/ automation efforts related to integrating this platform. You will own the hands on data testing strategy, with a heavy focus on API, integration, data pipeline, and data integrity testing. You will perform source- to- target data reconciliation, validate data transformation login and identify/ resolve data anomalies. You will ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data across the enterprise systems. You will design robust data testing strategies and enhance/ mature the test automation framework so that it can be proper leveraged for this space. Additional tasks will include leading modernization testing activities, configuring integrations for the new platform, and craft the test strategy as the project evolves.

Required Skills & Experience
7-10+ Years experience in QA automation engineering
Extensive background in ETL/ ELT, data migrations, data integrity and data pipeline testing
ERP testing experience (Integration/ implementation)
Advanced SQL skills for data validation (Joins, aggregations, reconciliation)
Hands on experience with data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, etc.)
API and integration testing expertise
Test automation programming skills with C# or Java
Data modernization/ migration project experience
Familiarly with cloud platforms
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with Cypress or Selenium
Python experience
Playwright experience
Procurement or accounting application experience
