Job Description
Our global manufacturing client is seeking an SAP Application Integration Developer. This individual can sit fully remote and is an immediate need. This role serves as a subject matter expert for Enterprise Application Integration, collaborating closely with project teams to design, develop, and deliver integration solutions aligned with the client’s EAI standards. The position involves designing and building APIs and integrations across SAP PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (iPaaS), S/4HANA, and public, private, and hybrid cloud environments including Azure and AWS. The individual will develop A2A and B2B integrations using standard and custom connectors, leveraging SAP BAPI and IDOC objects as part of overall interface design. Responsibilities include performing technical unit testing, contributing effort and duration estimates for prospective projects, and supporting quality standards in partnership with QA COE and business teams. The role also provides mentoring to junior developers and ensures knowledge transfer to service delivery teams for long-term operational support.
Phase 1 of this project is an 8-month contract, and the max pay rate is $65/hr.

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of experience in SAP NetWeaver PO, SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)
Strong hands-on experience with SAP integration platforms
Experience with Agile concepts and methodologies
Ability to translate customer's functional requirements into a technical solution
Experience with Cloud iPaaS platforms, custom API development
Experience in middleware and enterprise integration using various transformation mapping techniques such are Graphical (Message), XSLT, Java, Groovy, etc.
Must have a working understanding of security and encryption standards such as, OAUTH, SSH, TLS, SSL, PGP, etc.
Experience in EDI interface development
Ability to design, develop, document, and transition enterprise solutions utilizing design patterns, reference architectures, and best practices
Independent judgement and problem-solving skills to solve highly complex integrations in a hybrid environment of on-premises, private cloud, public cloud, and external partner systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with major connectors/adapters HTTP/S, SFTP, AS2, JMS, SOAP, REST, JDBC, ODBC, XI3.0, FTP/S, IDoC, RFC
Ability to pick up new technical skills quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer-facing communication skills
