Job Description

Mission
Own and scale the direct-to-consumer Shopify business end-to-end, acting as the primary business owner for the ecommerce channel. This individual will oversee the entire customer journey, from product launches and merchandising through promotional planning, conversion optimization, order fulfillment, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will operate independently, develop scalable ecommerce playbooks, and drive profitable revenue growth while serving as the subject matter expert for Shopify and DTC ecommerce operations.

Scope & Responsibilities
· Own the Shopify storefront with full accountability for revenue growth, profitability, customer experience, and operational performance.
· Develop and execute ecommerce strategies that take products from launch through merchandising, promotion, optimization, and lifecycle management.
· Manage product catalogs, collections, site merchandising, navigation, and content updates across Shopify.
· Create and execute pricing, promotional, and sales strategies to maximize revenue, conversion rate, and average order value while maintaining profitability.
· Lead major promotional events including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, seasonal campaigns, product launches, and flash sales.
· Partner with marketing teams to develop and optimize email, SMS, paid media, affiliate, and retention marketing campaigns.
· Own website conversion optimization initiatives, including landing pages, customer journey improvements, checkout enhancements, and A/B testing.
· Establish reporting and performance metrics to evaluate conversion rates, ROAS, customer acquisition costs, retention, revenue growth, and overall ecommerce effectiveness.
· Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, replenishment, and order fulfillment operations.
· Manage drop shipment operations and coordinate closely with suppliers, warehouses, and 3PL partners.
· Monitor site performance, customer behavior, product performance, and operational KPIs to identify growth opportunities.
· Ensure accuracy of product information, pricing, promotions, and inventory availability across the Shopify platform.
· Collaborate closely with Marketing, Creative, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Leadership teams to drive business growth and improve the customer experience.

Required Skills & Experience

· 3+ years of hands-on experience managing and growing Shopify ecommerce businesses.
· Demonstrated experience owning a DTC ecommerce channel with direct responsibility for revenue growth and operational performance.
· Deep expertise in Shopify and Shopify Plus, including merchandising, promotions, product management, and storefront optimization.
· Experience managing ecommerce product lifecycles from launch through ongoing optimization.
· Strong understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO), customer acquisition, retention, and ecommerce analytics.
· Experience with Shopify apps, integrations, and ecommerce technology platforms.
· Experience managing inventory planning, fulfillment operations, drop shipping programs, and 3PL relationships.
· Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, and other reporting tools to drive revenue growth.
· Experience developing and executing promotional calendars and large-scale ecommerce sales events.
· Proven ability to independently make business decisions and operate as the primary owner of an ecommerce channel.
· Understanding of ecommerce economics including customer acquisition costs, margins, fulfillment costs, pricing strategies, and profitability.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

· Shopify Plus certification or advanced Shopify experience.
· Experience with Klaviyo, Attentive, Recharge, Gorgias, Loop Returns, or similar ecommerce tools.
· Experience with Amazon, Walmart Marketplace, or other marketplace channels.
· Familiarity with SEO, onsite search optimization, and digital merchandising best practices.
· Experience working with consumer goods, home products, furniture, lighting, décor, or lifestyle brands.
