Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Manufacturing Engineer supporting an Aerospace client in Middletown, CT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, improving, and sustaining manufacturing processes to ensure products are built safely, efficiently, and in compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements. This role partners closely with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to support production readiness, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement across the manufacturing floor.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing, digital engineering, or production support.
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM systems (e.g., Siemens NX, CATIA) and MBD principles.
- Familiarity with MES platforms (e.g., Solumina, SAP ME) and digital thread concepts.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Knowledge of rotating machinery components and associated manufacturing processes.
- Exposure to additive manufacturing and hybrid production environments.
- Ability to lead change and drive adoption of digital tools on the shop floor.
- Experience with CNC programming, tooling design, and inspection technologies.
