Job Description

Insight Global's healthcare client is hiring for a Data Scientist who will join an exploratory analytics team focused on applying quantitative methods to healthcare and clinical use cases. The role centers on analyzing commercial claims data to support both existing and exploratory initiatives, including experiment design, statistical modeling, and pipeline development. You’ll partner closely with technology and clinical stakeholders to refine complex SQL queries, build analytical pipelines, and translate data into insights that inform clinical decision-making.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–6 years of experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role
• Strong SQL skills (most critical requirement)
• Experience working with healthcare claims data, preferably commercial claims
• Quantitative background with hands-on experience in model building and statistical analysis
• Proficiency in Python or R
• Solid foundation in statistical measurement, experimentation, and experimental design
• Experience within the healthcare industry
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain analytical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
