Job Description
This role supports the development of SKIM, a Structures Information and Knowledge Management platform that enables structural and aftermarket engineers to review analysis results, evaluate damage, and design repair solutions for commercial and military engine programs with 2026 release targets. The engineer will contribute to building and enhancing system capabilities by developing structures methods applications, aggregating structural results from upstream design and analysis teams, and transforming complex engineering data into interactive, cloud based visual tools. The role involves hands on software development across web and cloud technologies, close collaboration with engineering stakeholders, and direct impact on repair decisions, recommendations, and long term engine reliability.

Required Skills & Experience
-5-7 years experience as a full stack software engineer
-Experience with software development in engineering or technical environments
-Hands on experience with Python and JavaScript, react and AWS
-Experience building web applications and working in the cloud
-Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering education
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
-Experience working with structural analysis or engineering data
-Comfort working between engineering teams and software teams
