Insight Global is looking for a Remote Azure Cloud Solutions Engineer. The primary responsibility of this role is to design and implement solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. This role involves hands-on engineering of cloud infrastructure solutions to cater to the complex needs of various high-profile internal development teams. Tasks include executing refactoring efforts, infrastructure instantiation, Cloud-to-Cloud migration efforts, and implementing monitoring and alerting solutions. The candidate will lead Proof of Concepts during internal private and public previews of new cloud services. They will also troubleshoot complex issues, lead root cause analysis, and remediation efforts when necessary. This role focuses on Cloud Solutions Engineering, kubernetes, systems integration, and communications over complex networks.

5+ years in IT infrastructure, demonstrated experience with leading-edge cloud offerings, particularly Azure services, and a desire to learn, test, deploy, and support the latest cloud technologies in a dynamic environment.
Minimum of 3 years of in-depth experience with Terraform, including writing Modules, scripting, and deploying infrastructure.
Expertise in Kubernetes deployments and Docker containers or equivalent Kubernetes infrastructure.
3+ years of experience with AKS.
Experience with Azure Cloud Networking NSG, Load Balancers, DNS, UDRs.
Expertise in Azure components RBAC, Azure Monitor, Policy, Azure Key Vault.
Proficiency in Azure CLI and/or PowerShell Scripting.
At least one Microsoft Azure certification.
BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, engineering, or related field with 4+ years of experience in digital technology; OR an Advanced degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field with 2+ years of experience in digital technology.
Working knowledge of RedHat/Ubuntu or other Linux experience.
Experience with application scalability and performance testing.
Recent experience supporting DOD and Government projects
Pay Rate: 75-83 depending on experience
