Project Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to support an Aerospace client located in East Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will work as part of a collaborative team of scientists, engineers, and technicians responsible for the development, execution, and oversight of Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE) methods.

This role will focus on leading and supporting NDE projects through a combination of hands‑on technical work and coordination of automated data collection systems. The Project Engineer will support inspection planning, project execution, data proctoring, and analysis while ensuring deliverables are completed on time with a high level of accuracy. The candidate must be comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and contributing to a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment while adhering to established procedures and instructions.

- 4-6 years of relevant engineering experience or project management experience in Aerospace.
- Experience supporting or leading inspection-based projects
- Strong project management and organizational skills to ensure deliverables are met on time
- Strong Excel Skills (spreadsheets, trackers, documentation)
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field (Electrical, Physics, Materials, etc.)

- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally if needed
