Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Test Engineer to support the development, execution, and management of advanced materials testing programs and engineering development projects. This role will primarily support a large-scale rig development initiative being executed in partnership with a university testing facility, requiring close coordination with engineers, project stakeholders, and external partners to ensure project milestones are met. The engineer will help drive schedules, monitor project progress, review engineering designs and 3D models, support procurement activities, and assist with the execution of testing programs. Responsibilities also include collecting and analyzing test data, maintaining engineering databases, preparing technical reports, and communicating results to engineering leadership. When project activity slows, this individual will provide support across additional testing programs and laboratory initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-visibility engineering projects while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced technical environment.
