Job Description
Insight Global is looking to hire a proactive, goal oriented, and detail-focused project engineer to lead industrial execution efforts. In this role you will serve as the Industrial lead, responsible for coordinating across one or more Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to order and deliver hardware for use in test rigs and engines. These efforts are critical to ensure the parts meet requirements and perform as expected. The Industrial lead will work directly with the design engineering teams, P&W internal manufacturing cells and outside vendors/suppliers to ensure all required parts are manufactured to requirements and delivered on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Industrial planning, including structure, framework and timing on sourcing and manufacturing decisions
- Ordering and delivery of hardware through both internal P&W manufacturing cells as well as external vendors/suppliers
- Integration with P&W purchasing and sourcing organizations to develop high confidence plans to deliver required hardware to meet schedule requirements
- Integration with both internal P&W manufacturing sites and outside suppliers to track industrial execution, resolve issues, and track hardware manufacture and delivery through all stages of the process; this role includes travel to visit manufacturing sites
- Identify and address risks via proactive risk management and mitigation to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Build relationships with supporting organizations and partner closely to ensure tasks are prioritized and executed to plan
- Partner closely with other disciplines to coordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of relevant project engineering experience
- Previous experience working on aerospace or similar hardware
- Experience working in an industrial environment
- Experience using Teamcenter PLM system or SAP software
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in engineering or relevant field
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
